Sample Code

Please understand that demonstrating the creation of a JAVA application in a simple fashion presents a challenge. Keeping the sample code simple enough to be understood by someone unfamailiar with the concepts forces the example to be trivial. The code here is provided as an example, however without having heard the full presentation some of the points may not be altogether clear.

We hope that this code will provide a good base for those learning both basic and advanced ITK principles.

This sample code generates Run-time properties and demonstrates their use in a Teamcenter engineering Java application:

The user community has been seeking an application which will allow the Teamcenter Engineering (iMAN) Administrator to change the owner of Objects. We have written this application and are giving it away. The change owner utility has been tested by sites in the Netherlands, the US, Germany and in Luxemborg. However, like all freeware, use it at your own risk.

A secondary purpose for this code is to provide the ITK programmer some examples of code and perhaps even coding style.

We also sell a version of this program which uses POM calls and is much more flexible and faster.

We have given several presentations at the National Unigraphics Users Group which included sample code:
